Introductions
When you think of Long Island hard-rock music, Adam and The Metal Hawks should be an obvious go-to. Fans can vouch for the fire that rolls off the stage when this band ignites. Presenting a modern take on true hard rock, they wield some serious aural power. Adam Ezegelian leads the charge with an unforgettably striking voice; the frontman was even a 2015 American Idol contestant who ultimately made it to the top 16.
John Barry founded the band that would become the Metal Hawks in 2014 and managed to secure what could be the most badass of band names. He met Ryan Daversa at a talent show, bonding in the wings over common musical interests. Ryan stepped up to fill the spot when original Metal Hawks singer bowed out, later taking on dual-duty on bass. They found themselves in need of a drummer when John met Alex Hertler at a music store, and Hertler officially signed on in 2016.
Adam and The Metal Hawks joined forces to really shake up the music scene in 2019. Their upcoming debut album is scheduled to drop in March 2020, but you can catch new singles each month leading up to the release as well as stream existing tracks “Turn Around”, “Long Die Rock”, and “The Zeppelin Song” online.
